  • You may be the only person left
who believes in you, but it’s enough!!

If you truly want to be respected
by people you love, you must prove to
them that you can survive without them.
I was once  teaching in a certain school while  i was on a long university vacation and a student of average intellect  approached me reason being she felt really  “Insufficient”.

She sternly told me the way she felt about the much anticipated Mock exams and all she had was a troubled heart.

She was fearing that she may fail in an exam that she had not  seen leave alone done.

Well, she is not the only person who suffers from this “disease” of prematurely conceding even before the opponent has opened fire.We can simply talk  about a mindset of an early defeat.

But she was much better  placed for she came looking for a solution.

Back to the girl…she wanted a person who will make her believe in  herself more  than she already did.

I doubt if there is anyone who has capability to do so.

The point blank is-the person who has a lot to do with what happens to you is YOU.

Its not an external force. It is you and the traces that you leave behind.

This two will  contribute  immensely  towards the happenings around you.

So try as much as possible to prove to us that you really can ; if that doesn’t happen there is no  one single time we will convince you that you can.

All this should be driven by power from within and not  an external power.

Whenever a power or pressure comes from within there is always genesis of a new life ,when a power comes from else where  it’s far less likely to be a beginning but rather a termination of the very surging nature of life’s genesis of energy that can come from within.

Look at an analogy of an incubated egg. When pressure or anything is exerted from outside there is termination of life .But when the same pressure is exerted from within ,there is beginning of a life.

A broken egg.

We deduce that the greatest strength is the one that comes from within and sometimes external pressure compromises our well being!

The act of giving up on yourself when no one seems to take note of it is the worst thing you can ever do.

Believe that you are endowed with all that is needed to achieve your short and long life objectives.

It is only when you believe in yourself that you are able to uncover the hidden talents in you.

You ought to believe in yourself because you have got only yourself to make things workout the way you want.

You also have to believe in who you are ;believe in your uniqueness and this unique being should be able to give us outstanding unique  achievements.

When you believe you are the best actor it comes out strongly than in hoping you are one.

When you believe in yourself worries and fears of who may face you off, fades away.

Don’t be in a competition with anyone and if at all you feel like competing, then try competing with the person you were yesterday.

Choose to walk at your own pace for you know yourself better.

Believing in ourselves reminds us on how to be creative in  coming up with ideas and owning them up without getting ashamed.

One of the lecturers who taught us  a certain unit-Dr G. Macharia used to point at a student so  that  they may answer a particular question.Students used to fidget and kept looking exactly at the person behind them .

The point am driving home is;this kind of a student  feels incapacitated with the information that was needed at that particular point.Even if it is  crystal clear he was the one pointed they  always felt that the other person had more much than they had.

Absolutely not!

At some other instances when debates are being held we have  a tendency  of keeping our mouth shut so that we may not contribute a point that may seemingly be stupid.

Quit thinking that you are not intelligent.

THERE IS SOMETHING THAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR MIND THAT YOU CAN SAY AND CAN NEVER BE SAID BY ANOTHER PERSON.

Beginning now start walking with passion owning who you are and anything that you do  and you will make a difference in this tricky and challenging life

The only person who can pull me down is myself, and I’m not going to let myself pull me down anymore.”
